Mike Nelson

He uses elements of politics, philosophy, science, and culture. He creates environments that seem to be parallel worlds. These environments seem like empty areas where the occupants have escaped. Visitors into the rooms feel like outsiders or intruders. His work in the Tate Britain is called The Projection Room and it was made in 2004. He creates places that we do not necessarily know as installations and gives us a perception in that way. His work is interesting to me because his installations are new to me. They are rooms where I do not understand much, but I very interested and intrigued to the items that are included inside.
